About the Speaker:

Eileen Day, who currently serves as the Audit Partner at Holmes & Company, LLP, has 25 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. She has experience working for privately-held businesses headquartered throughout the Portland metro area in a wide variety of industries both domestic and internationally.

Ms. Day’s primary industry experiences are in software and web-based technologies, distribution, manufacturing, vineyards/wineries, and construction. In addition, Ms. Day’s corporate experiences include internal and external financial reporting and engagement management, employee benefit plans, development and analyses of key performance indicators for finance and operations, budgeting and forecasting, corporate tax planning, preparation and presentation of financing packages, cash management, international banking, and human resource management.

Whether a corporation is in its start-up phase or preparing to expand to accommodate a growing industry, Ms. Day has worked with a number of entities in a variety of stages in their respective life cycles including development, restructurings and rapidly growing. She has also worked extensively with entities regarding issues surrounding defined benefit and contribution plans, including ESOP plans.

Ms. Day is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and is an active member in various civic organizations. Ms. Day holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University. She lives in the Portland area and enjoys skiing, golfing and watching soccer.
